I had only 48 hours to spend in Prague, but it sure was enough time to shake me up and leave me somewhat useless after my return to the daily grind. I am the kind of girl who likes to wander around, totally lost in her emotions and thoughts, and also someone who needs to digest all of the seen and done for a few days after. Is anyone with me?
The over-planning perfectionist within had an impeccable schedule on hand but when I returned to Vienna Sunday night, it took me a few days to wrap my head around that whirlwind trip.
I am back on track and brought a bunch of images to prove that Prague is an enchanting city for sure. Let’s start with a little visual diary of all things Prague…
The weather was a bit gloomy, which turned out to be perfect to roam the city. We even did a nightly city tour with a versed guide, which Nina suggested. It was really fun! I actually hijacked my friend Nina’s trip but we stayed at different hotels. I had the chance to collaborate with The Emblem Hotel Prague and couldn’t miss it.
While Nina visited the historical Kutná Hora treasury outside of the city, I roamed the old town, ventured to an art fair and stopped by the local Sephora, and finally enjoyed a bubble bath back at the hotel. I am somewhat used to traveling alone and felt totally safe in Prague, day and night.
It looks like a beautiful city. The buildings are all preserved and the culture seems amazing. You look like you had a lot of fun.
Well, Heide, in that particular photo I was only tired since I couldn´t sleep that well the night before. But thank you, I´ll take since it´s not photoshopped at all :)
Yes, the architecture truly is stunning. The buildings reminded me so much of Vienna and Salzburg. It makes sense though since we all used to be one country centuries ago.
